Accuracy of Representation

Every effort is made to represent artwork faithfully. Colours may vary slightly due to differences in monitors, printers, or digital displays.

Delivery & Risk

Once artwork leaves the studio, delivery cannot be guaranteed beyond the precautions and care taken in packaging and shipping. Buyers acknowledge that carrier delays, customs processing, or external factors are outside the seller’s control.

Agreement to Policies

By completing a purchase, buyers agree to the Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy in effect at the time of order.

Permitted Use

All artwork and workshop materials are provided for personal use only. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from the artist.

Copyright

All artwork and workshop materials are protected under copyright law. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, resale, or derivative use is strictly prohibited. Copyright remains with the artist at all times.

Policy Updates

These Terms of Service may be updated without prior notice. By purchasing or participating in workshops, buyers agree to the terms in effect at the time of their transaction.

Respect for Privacy

Your privacy is valued and respected.

Information Collected

Personal information collected during purchase (such as name, address, and email) is used solely for:

• Processing and fulfilling orders

• Communicating with buyers about their purchases

Use of Information

• Information is never shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties except as required to complete shipping or comply with legal obligations.

• Email addresses collected for updates, waitlists, or newsletters are used only to send relevant communications. Subscribers may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link provided in each email.

Data Security

Reasonable measures are taken to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

Policy Updates

This privacy policy may be updated without prior notice. By purchasing or subscribing, buyers agree to the terms in effect at the time of their transaction.

Shipping Policy

Carrier

All artwork and tools are shipped via Canada Post with tracking where available.

Packaging

Artwork and tools are packaged and shipped flat in rigid protective mailers with archival sleeves or other appropriate protective packaging to ensure safe transit.

Processing & Delivery Times

Orders are generally shipped within five business days of purchase.

Oversized artwork: Artwork larger than 9 × 12” may require additional packaging and handling and will ship within 10 business days of purchase.

Estimated delivery times after shipment:

• Canada: 5–10 business days

• United States: 7–15 business days

• International: 10–20 business days

Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Delivery may take longer due to customs processing, weather, service disruptions, or other circumstances outside the seller’s control.

Shipping Fees

Flat-rate shipping per order:

• Canada: $15 CAD

• United States: $20 CAD

• International: $25 CAD

Multiple items will be packaged and shipped together whenever possible.

Tracking

Tracking is provided for all shipments where available.

United States Customers

U.S. postal shipments are subject to applicable U.S. tariffs, duties, taxes, and customs processing requirements. Required duties must be processed and prepaid through the applicable Canada Post customs process before the shipment can cross the border.

Artwork

Applicable U.S. tariffs, duties, and customs processing charges are not included in the artwork purchase price.

The seller will determine the applicable charges for the shipment and charge these costs to the U.S. customer in addition to the artwork purchase price and applicable shipping fee.

Where additional customs charges are required, the customer will be notified of the amount before the order is shipped. The order will ship once the applicable charges have been paid.

If the customer does not wish to pay the additional amount, the order may be cancelled by the customer.

The amount of tariffs, duties, and customs processing charges may vary according to the artwork’s value, classification, country of origin, and current U.S. import requirements.

Final import and clearance decisions rest with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Tools

The $20 CAD U.S. shipping fee for tools is intended to cover applicable tariffs, duties, and customs processing charges associated with the shipment.

These charges are prepaid by the seller through the required Canada Post customs process before the shipment leaves Canada.

Final import and clearance decisions rest with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

International Customers

Due to temporary Canada Post service restrictions, shipping to the European Union is currently unavailable.

Customers outside Canada and the United States are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, and import fees imposed by their destination country. Please review local import requirements before purchasing.

Insurance

Shipments are sent using the carrier’s standard available coverage. Coverage and limits vary by service and destination and may not equal the full value of an artwork or tool.

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Additional shipping costs, return shipping charges, or losses resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address are the responsibility of the customer.

Lost or Delayed Parcels

Once an order has been accepted by the carrier, delivery times and transit conditions are outside the seller’s control.

If a parcel is lost or significantly delayed, the seller will assist the customer with the carrier’s claims process where applicable.

Damaged Shipments

All orders are carefully packaged for transit.

If a parcel arrives damaged, please contact the seller within 7 days of delivery and provide photographs of:

• the exterior packaging;

• any visible shipping damage;

• the internal packaging; and

• the damaged artwork or tool.

Please retain all packaging until the claim has been resolved, as the carrier may require it for inspection.

The seller will assist with the carrier’s claims process where applicable. Refunds or replacements are subject to the outcome of the carrier’s claim and the applicable coverage.

Policy Updates

This shipping policy may be updated from time to time. The policy in effect at the time an order is placed applies to that order.

Final Sale

All sales are final and returns are not accepted.

Damaged Shipments

If artwork arrives damaged in transit:

• Contact the seller at vinessa@pigmentsandmood.com within 7 days of delivery.

• Provide clear photographs of the packaging and the damaged artwork.

• The seller will assist in filing a claim with the carrier.

• Refunds or replacements are not guaranteed and depend on carrier resolution and insurance coverage.

Insurance & Resolution

Shipments include standard carrier insurance. Coverage may not equal the full artwork value. Additional insurance can be arranged upon request prior to purchase. Buyers choosing not to request additional insurance accept the limits of standard coverage.

This returns and refunds policy may be updated without prior notice. By purchasing, buyers agree to the terms in effect at the time of order.

Item Format & Attendance

• All workshops are conducted live via Zoom and are not recorded.

• Participants are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and using a compatible device with the Zoom application installed.

Scheduling

• Workshops are scheduled in Eastern Time (ET). Participants are responsible for adjusting to their local time zone.

Cancellations & Credits

• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to receive a credit toward a future workshop.

• Refunds are not available.

Materials & Access

• Workshop materials and Zoom links are sent within 24 hours of registration.

• If the email is not received, participants should check spam folders and contact vinessa@pigmentsandmood.com promptly.

Intellectual Property

• Workshop content—including demonstrations, techniques, and materials—is the intellectual property of Vinessa Redford.

• Content may not be recorded, reproduced, distributed, or shared publicly in any form.
